Gün geçtikçe yeni GTA’nın ayrıntıları gün ışığına çıkıyor. Geçtiğimiz günlerde ortaya çıkan birkaç detayı şimdi sizlerle paylaşıyoruz.

Gerçekçilikle ilgili detaylar şöyle:
- Artık karakterimiz koşarken ekranda hafif bir titreşim olacak.
- Sağlık ve silah göstergeleri kaldırıldı. Sadece elimizde silah varsa mermi sayısını görebileceğiz.
- Patlamalar daha büyük ve gerçekçi olacak, büyük çaplı patlamalar olacak
- Arabalar kaza yaparak patlamayacak, sadece roketatar ile patlatmanız mümkün olacak
- Adamımız koşmaktan yorulmayacak, koştukça biraz daha yavaş hızda koşmaya devam edecek.
- İnsanlar vurulduğunda vuruldukları yer kanayacak, ayrıca vuruldukları yeri tutacaklar. Örneğin kolundan vurursanız, kollarını tutacaklar.
-Yemek yeme, kız arkadaşla buluşma, fitness salonuna gitme gibi özellikler bu sefer olmayacak. Ama genel yetenekler yine bulunacak. (Araba kullanma, motor kullanma gibi)

 

Diğer detaylar ise şu şekilde sıralanmış:
- Alev silahı ve roket atar oyunda bulunacak.
- RPG tarzı görevler artacak. (Örneğin şu saatte, şu olayı gerçekleştirerek, şu görevi al gibi)
- Oyunu %100 bitirdiğinizde gizli arabalar ve bazı sürprizler ortaya çıkacak.
- Harita 3 şehirden daha büyük olacak.

Glock (probably a G17)
Caliber: 9×19mm
Capacity: 17

Developed in the 1980s by Austrian engineer, Gaston Glock, the eponymous pistol soon became the world’s most popular civilian and law enforcement sidearm. With its polymer frame and simple, internal striker-fired mechanism, the Glock is both lightweight and extremely durable.

Desert Eagle
Caliber: .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum, or .50 AE
Capacity: 9, 8, or 7

In 1979, Magnum Research Inc. set out to create the first gas-operated, magnum-caliber pistol. While the end product is generally considered too heavy and too expensive to serve as a practical combat pistol, it hasn’t stopped the Desert Eagle from becoming the weapon of choice for Hollywood (and video game) bad guys.

Micro Uzi
Caliber: 9×19mm
Capacity: 20

The smallest member of the Uzi family was introduced by Israel Military Industries in 1986 as a security weapon to fill the firepower gap between pistols and standard submachine guns. Between its short barrel and extreme rate of fire, things like aiming are but an afterthought.

MP5 N(A3)
Caliber: 9×19mm
Capacity: 30

The Heckler & Koch MP5 was originally developed in the 1960s, but has been further refined and revised over the years into a number of different models. Thanks in large part due to the number of options available, reliability, and accuracy, it is the most widely used submachine gun today.

M4 Carbine
Caliber: 5.56×45mm NATO
Capacity: 30

Despite some teething problems with the earlier M16 variant during the Vietnam War, Eugene Stoner’s 1958 AR-15 design went on to become one of the most popular and versatile rifles in the world. Boasting a light weight, compact size, and a ridiculous amount of add-ons and accessories, the M4 has something for everyone.

AK-47
Caliber: 7.62×39mm
Capacity: 30

Even after sixty years, Mikhail Kalashnikov’s legendary AK-47 rifle is still a hard act to follow; both in reliability and popularity. Created with mass production in mind, the simple design and loose clearances resulted in a rifle that’s practically indestructible, and that will remain functional with little maintenance or cleaning.

G3SG/1
Caliber: 7.62×51mm NATO
Capacity: 20

The G3SG/1 is a version of the H&K G3 rifle optimized for sniper applications.

PSG1
Caliber: 7.62×51mm NATO
Capacity: 20

The PSG1 is another H&K G3 sniper variant. It is unknown if both this and the G3SG/1 will be in the game, or whether the above is only in the art. Probably the latter.

SPAS-12
Gauge: 12
Capacity: 8

This Italian semi-automatic shotgun was designed by the Luigi Franchi company in the late ’70s. Originally intended for police and military use, the SPAS-12 features a heat shield under the pump/handguard to protect the user’s hands during sustained fire. While this is a definite plus on a combat shotgun, it comes at the price of added weight.

Remington 870
Gauge: 12
Capacity: 8

Based on a model designed by John Pedersen, and further refined by John Moses Browning, the 1950 Model 870 went on to become the number one selling pump-action shotgun in U.S. history. Initially introduced as a hunting shotgun, it was later adopted for use by military and law enforcement agencies.

Oyundaki Karakterler:

Niko Bellic (Oyunda yöneteceğimiz Karakter!)

“Life is complicated. I killed people. Smuggled people. Sold people. Perhaps here, things will be different.”

Grand Theft Auto IV’s protagonist, Niko Bellic, travelled to Liberty City to pursue the “American Dream,” where money and women [supposedly] come easy. Niko hails from an unspecified Eastern European country, which he departed after landing himself in hot water with the local gangs. Niko - unshaven, in his mid-thirties and sporting a cheap tracksuit - was enticed by his cousin Roman to try life in America. He claimed to be living with two women, four hot tubs and fifteen sport cars - a lifestyle which very much appealed to Niko. So with things not working out back home, Niko decided to pack his belongings and head for America. Upon arrival, he discovers that his cousin’s claims of a wealthy lifestyle were far from the truth, and he soon finds himself drawn into Roman’s [seemingly endless] list of personal problems.

Roman Bellic

Roman is Niko’s cousin. He is an optimist, a fantasist, and a liar. He made Niko believe things which weren’t true in order to bring him to Liberty City, so that he could help him sort out personal issues. He claimed through various emails that he was rich, living in a luxury condo with many fast cars and beautiful women, but instead he has crippling debts, a lot of enemies, and runs a failing taxi business in a converted industrial garage in Broker. At the beginning of the game, Roman serves as your only friend and as your only connection in the story. Whereas Niko is considered a rough-and-tough type character, Roman is more of a “friendly buffoon,” according to Dan Houser, Rockstar’s creative vice president. Roman and Niko are said to be constantly bickering with each other. Roman is dating a girl called Mallorie.

Vlad

Vlad likes to think of himself as a powerful and much-feared character, who runs the Hove beach neighborhood of Broker with an iron fist. But in reality, he is a low level Russian criminal who is trying to win respect from the bigger boys. Most of his criminal activities are minor.

Elizabeta

Elizabeta has been a successful drug dealer in Bohan for more than ten years. Her success is due mainly to the fact that she tends to keep her business low-key, while paying off or ordering the killings of the right people. A crackdown on drug dealing has increased the level of pressure on Elizabeta and her business, as police try to track her activities. She has recently developed a drug addiction, which is making her dangerously paranoid and delusional.

Manny

Manny is a former gangster who managed to transform his life and put his rough past behind him. He is now trying to help others do the same, and is determined to clean up the neighbourhood, the kids, and the streets of Liberty City. He is having a documentary made about himself to record his struggle.

Brucie

Fitness enthusiast, car nut, and self appointed VIP. Brucie thinks an awful lot of himself. He is a man brimming with confidence, who isn’t afraid to make himself heard. He lives a lavish lifestyle, with nothing but the finest women, cars and lifestyle accessories. His appearance says it all.

Little Jacob

Jacob (nicknamed “Little Jacob”) is a Jamaican arms dealer from Dukes, and one of Niko’s many associates. Jacob supplies you with any firepower you need, which he stores in the back of his trunk. He is a good friend of Roman Bellic, Niko’s cousin.

Francis McCreary

McCreary is a corrupt police officer (what would a GTA game be without one?) who has dirt on Niko’s past. He knows about a felony Niko committed, which he threatens to reveal details of unless Niko obeys his orders. In the mission “Call and Collect,” McCreary asks you to retrieve a memory stick with sensitive data which was stolen from him. He wears a black suit and tie, has a short moustache, and has slicked blonde hair with a strong side parting.

DiÄŸer Karakterler:

Karen	The receptionist at Goldberg, Ligner & Shyster, where Tom Goldberg works.
Lola	Not much is known about her at the moment, though rumours suggest she may be a prostitute. She featured on some of the print magazine covers in the July previews.
Mallorie	Roman Bellic’s girlfriend.
Tom Goldberg	A shady lawyer working for the lawfirm Goldberg, Ligner & Shyster.
